Anglia Ascentis Examinations is an international non-profit Examination Board, which is physically based within the Department of International Operations at state-run and administered Chichester College, in West Sussex, England.

Anglia Ascentis  Examinations offers a comprehensive and structured programme of assessing English language competence as well as teaching skills, which students and teachers undertake at their own pace.

Anglia Examinations has negotiated a co-operative agreement with a highly respected UK awarding body, which ensures full accreditation and recognition for its qualifications. The awarding body, Ascentis www.ascentis.co.uk, offers learners a wide range of qualifications to help with their progression to employment or higher education .  Ascentis is a QCA/Ofqual approved UK national awarding body.
This co-operation means that the top four levels of Anglia exams: B1 Intermediate (UK Entry level) , B2 Advanced (UK level 1), C1 Proficiency (UK level 2), and C2 Masters (UK level 3) are now fully accredited by QCA/ Ofqual as Anglia Ascentis ESOL International Qualifications.

Everyone who takes and passes an Anglia examination at one of the top four levels not only passes that level, but will also have achieved a QCA/Ofqual accredited Ascentis ESOL International Qualification.

QCA/ Ofqual , which stands for the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator , is a UK government sponsored public body which oversees the national curriculum of the UK and all the associated assessments and examinations.

It is the only official body in the UK with the power to accredit qualifications. Examinations and Examination Boards have to go through a very rigorous process of approval before they can be accredited. We are therefore delighted that we can offer our candidates QCA/ Ofqual accredited qualifications with Anglia Ascentis Examinations
